For years, we went round and round the home business industry and while we had some success, we mostly found out what DIDN'T work!  Our backgrounds: Kevin was in Radio Advertising Sales and DJ'ing on the side.  Melissa worked as a bank teller and for a while in cellular sales.  Not exactly the life of freedom we had envisioned.  But that all changed when we decided once and for all that we didn't want to be away from our children any longer and that we deserved much more in life. 

We had the right idea in looking for another way.  We worked really hard in MLM, but found that 'The Residual Dream is often interrupted by the Attrition Nightmare', a phrase coined by Melissa. People were going out the back door quicker than we could bring them in the front and with very little profit on each person, it just didn't make sense. 

There is just no leverage in MLM and the ratio of the amount of compensation to the amount of work required was actually worse than our jobs.  It was also not a true experience of 'home-based', as we were having to go out to meetings all the time.  We chose home-based business to be HOME.  Even MLMs that require no meetings still have the issues of not paying enough to the marketer to make it a truly worthwhile endeavor.  We were serious entrepreneurs without a vehicle.

A friend then told us about a compensation model which with less work could have us in at least $1,000 profits up front and it could all be done from home on the phone and computer.  That got our attention.  The only issue with that opportunity was that their product was questionable.  Would we ever find the perfect marriage of an incredible compensation model and a worthwhile and amazing product?

Up till 7+ years ago we had worked with Melaleuca, Excel, GMT, New Shore and several other companies.  But we never had sustainable success.  We knew there had to be a better way.  A way to break six-figures and then grow from there with something that would have integrity and vision for the future.  We were so DONE with hype and promises.

So when a friend told us about the opportunity that changed it all for us, we almost missed it.  We were quite 'worn down' by that point and really were ready to take a pass without looking. But then the thought that we couldn't let go of was 'What if?'  'What if this is the one thing that would work?'  

What we found was a turn key, low startup cost, internet business, that we could start right away. After reviewing the information, the decision was clear. There was NO DOWN SIDE to this business compared to anything else we had done. 72 hours later we were up and running.

We discovered the secret of how countless numbers of average people were making absolute fortunes and becoming millionaires working from home using a simple hybrid business model in the direct sales industry. 

In our first six months we tripled our annual income and have stayed very consistent since then... well at least consistently increasing. Most months, we make more than we previously made in a whole year.

But the biggest payoff is that now our kids have us when they need us and we are able to be fully involved in their lives.  Our youngest has never known what it's like to be in daycare since we are home with him 24/7.  We do virtual school from home with him since he was reading before he was four. We directly attribute that to the additional time we have been able to spend with him.

Additionally, our daughter was able to make the choice to come home and do virtual school, as well. A choice we would've sadly had to deny her if we were still working jobs. She recently graduated from virtual school & we can all truly say it was a phenomenal experience.

So we think you get the picture of what our “Why” is.  Our family is our world and it’s been such a blessing to be truly present in their lives. We love paying that ability forward to other families.

We’ve been able to travel extensively as a family and our kids have learned so much about the world.  They have traveled more in their short lives than we had in our first 30 years of life!
